Christa has worked with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) for 15 years – as a fundraiser for the Maryland/DC chapter, as a Loyal Donor Officer in the Gift Planning department, and is four years into her current role as a Real Estate Gift Officer, helping turn gifts of real estate into remarkable gifts for conservation all around the U.S. She enjoys helping other professionals achieve their best, having led a bi-monthly call with peers from around the globe, and has presented numerous times on gifts of real estate. Previous to her work at TNC, she led the fundraising department at Sea Island Habitat for Humanity.
Christa lives in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia where she and her husband enjoy taking their three children on hikes in the area to see the gorgeous vistas. The “furry friends” in her house include a dog & her son’s tarantula…yes, they’re furry! In her spare time, she volunteers on two local nonprofit boards, is a leader in her church, and enjoys making stained glass panels.
