Description
Foundation Source is seeking a reliable, detail-driven Advisor to join our PG Calc Client Services team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way, values consistent processes, and enjoys being part of a dependable and supportive team.
The Client Service Advisor is responsible for providing support and training for PG Calc software clients, delivering certain planned giving services, testing software and products, and participating in cross-departmental activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling client support calls relating to Planned Giving Manager, PGM Anywhere, GiftWrap, Bequest Manager and GiftCalcs (80%)
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of PG Calc’s products and services.
- Develop familiarity with product licensing terms and fee structures
- Develop expertise in gift planning and related topics.
- Provide support to software clients including use of software and subject matter topics.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients as well as colleagues across PG Calc teams.
- Build and maintain high quality relationships with charities and enterprise clients.
- Resolve any difficult client issues that may arise and elevate to the Associate Director when necessary
- Record client communications in a timely manner in CRM
- Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required.
Conducting software training and contributing to scheduling, curriculum development and preparation of training manuals (10%)
- Conduct group, online and/or custom training classes on PGM Anywhere and GiftWrap and related topics.
- Conduct online orientations for PGM Anywhere, GiftWrap and Bequest Manager.
Serve as the product representative for one or more PG Calc products and services. (10%)
- Represent the client experience to the Development team and advocate for product enhancements
- Attend Development meetings related to product enhancements and software releases
- Draft or review client communications related to product releases
- Participate in testing PG Calc software updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, liberal arts, finance, education or related field and 5 years of employment in the field of planned giving/gift planning, development, bequest administration or estate law, OR 7+ years of on the job training doing equivalent work in the field of planned giving.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, data integrity, and doing things by the book.
- Thrives in structured environments with defined procedures, recurring tasks, and steady workflows.
- Able to manage multiple priorities with consistency and timeliness while maintaining high quality.
- Communicates clearly and professionally; works well independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and comfort using Microsoft Office and financial software.
- Driven by a sense of purpose and takes pride in supporting mission-driven work through operational excellence.
Job Requirements for Hybrid Work Environment
- Dedicated Workspace: Must have a home office or workspace that is free of distractions and interruptions to ensure productivity and focus during work hours.
- Reliable Internet Connection: High-speed internet is required to support video conferencing, file sharing, and other work-related technology needs.
- Hybrid Work Commitment: If hybrid, must be able to reliably commute to the Cambridge office 2 days per week and meet in-person collaboration requirements as needed.
